1st Grade Captain Announcement 🥇
1st Grade Coach Mike Ruthven has announced the Captain for 2021.
“It is with great excitement that we announce Ben Marr as 1st Grade captain for season 2021.
Ben was a graduate of our 2017 colts program and made his first grade debut in 2018. Since then, Ben has gone on to be an integral member of our 1st Grade squad and comes into 2021 off the back of an outstanding 2020 season.
Ben has really matured into an intelligent footballer over the last couple of seasons and has the overwhelming support of the playing and coaching group. Ben is a fierce competitor who loves winning, has a great understanding of the DNA of Warringah and has high expectations of himself and the playing group.
Ben will bring a fresh energy into the leadership space as we transition from some great leaders who have retired in recent years. He will be well supported by Rory O’Connor and Charlie McKill who have been appointed as co. Vice-Captains.”
